Altera Signs Distribution Agreement With Cytech Global Pte Ltd for Six ASEAN Countries

Hong Kong, August 20, 2009 — Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Cytech Global Pte Ltd in six ASEAN countries. Cytech Global Pte Ltd is now an authorized Altera distributor in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. This expanded agreement complements Altera's existing distribution network in the Asia Pacific region.
