SONY IMX299 is a diagonal 21.63mm (type 4/3) CMOS image sensor with a square pixel array and 10.71M effective pixels. It is only availble in color. It is possible to output the signals of 15.86M effective pixels with high definition for shooting still picture because of the 12-bit digital output. It realizes 12-bit digital output for shooting high-speed and high-definition moving pictures by horizontal and vertical addition and subsampling. It operates with 3 power supplies: analog 2.8V, digital 1.2V and interface 1.8V. It has low power consumption. This product is designed for consumer uses: digital still camera and camcorder.
